ABOUT CASA LOGGIA, 2 BDR, SLEEP 4, CASOLE D’ELSA, SIENA
This elegant and modern apartment is furnished to high standards and is very well kept, spanning over 2 floors, and containing 2 double bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. It is provided with independent central heating and air conditioning. At the entrance, there is a large paved patio area for dining outdoors with a table, chairs, and sun shade. The first floor contains the living room, that is spacious and bright, with 2 comfortable sofas and an elegant armchair. From here there are stairs that lead to the upper floor. The separate kitchen/dining area is also located just off the living room. cooking equipment comprises of: 2 electrical plates, a microwave oven, coffee machine, water boiler, refrigerator, small freezer, and dishwasher. A wooden table and 4 chairs allow for pleasant dining.
The first spacious bedroom consists of a comfortable double bed, 2 bedside lockers, writing desk, stool, and a large free standing wardrobe. Direct access via stairs leads to a bathroom consisting of a shower and WC.
The second bedroom comprises a beautiful 4-poster bed complete with matching writing desk, stool, and bedside lockers. An en suite bathroom includes a walk-in shower and WC.
ABOUT THE RESORT
This charming farmhouse complex is the result of a recent and elegant restoration of a typical Tuscan country house, near the town of Casole d’Elsa, in the province of Siena. The Etruscan hills surrounding the property are but a short distance from the most celebrated Renaissance cities and towns of Florence, Siena and Volterra.
It was originally built in the 19th century, and it represents a model of Tuscan architecture. The entire property comprises of 6 apartments in the main building, a separate barn with private gardens (Il Fienile), a restaurant, and a fantastic infinity swimming pool, all of this surrounded by 55 hectares which includes vineyards of Sangiovese, Cabernet and Merlot grapes and an olive groves.
At the property you can enjoy the typical Tuscan cuisine at the restaurant run by the owner, while admiring the beautiful landscape.
Mountain bike rentals and guided bike tours are available, together with a number of golf clubs within easy reach: the old established and prestigious Ugolino golf club of Florence, or that of the “dell’Abbadia club nearby in the Colle Val d’Elsa, and the new golf club “La Bagnaia”, where we can arrange tee-times and transport as required.
