There are lots of wonderful places to visit in Gaiole, and all are awaiting you. The surrounding countryside is indeed a paradise for cycling and walking, with lots off the beat and track paths to discover.

One of the main attractions of recent years is the “Eroica” bike race, which takes place the first week in October each year, and by now hosts hundreds of cyclists from all over the world. This tough, but fun ride traverses the white roads of Chianti, crossing through incredible and untouched sceneries. Other activities include: horse riding, hot air balloon rides and sightseeing.
