Getting around Lake Garda can be done through driving, taking a ferry/boat, local bus, train or renting a bike.
By Plane: The main airports to Manerba del Garda are: Verona: 45km, Bergamo: 85km, Milan Linate: 125km, venice: 170km and Bologna: 170km.
By Car: Getting to Manerba del Garda by car you will use the A4 motorway that runs between Milan and Venice. From the east drive in the direction of Milan, and from the west in the direction of Venice. There are several car rental options, including Slow drive, which offer vintage cars, a wonderful way to explore the coast of Lake Garda.
By Train: From Verona you can take a train directly to Desenzano, approx. 30 minutes away. The train stations that serve the southern part of the lake are: Peschiera, Desenzano, whilst Roverto brings you to the north.
by Bus: The bus that connects Desenzano to Manerba del Garda is Line 27, taking approx. 15 minutes.
By Boat: Travelling by boat is probably the best way of both getting around the Lake and soaking up the wonderful unobstructed scenery along the way. You can choose from Lake steamers, hydrofoils, paddle steamers to motorised catamaran.
